About the Competition/Event/Opportunity

Applications are invited for the posts of two Field Investigator and one Part-Time staff positions in project id 1249 (ICSSR-IMPRESS) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Eligibility/Prerequisites

Field Investigator-

Post-1: (Qualification-M.A. with minimum 55 % marks, knowledge of Bihari languages (desirable Bhojpuri, Magahi, and Maithili), Period: 6 months

Field Investigator, Post-2: (Qualification– MA with minimum 55% marks, Research, knowledge of Garhwali language, Period 6 months.

Prior experience of fieldwork, Video-recording/ Photography and documentation and sound knowledge of MS-Office.

Part time staff-

M.A. with minimum 55 % marks, Period: 10 months.

1. Field Investigator (02)

Job Role

Assistance in documentation, field work, data entry, questionnaire cross checking for quality and completeness, writing the project report.

Qualifications

Field Investigator, Post-1: (Qualification-M.A. with minimum 55 % marks, knowledge of Bihari languages (desirable Bhojpuri, Magahi, and Maithili), Period: 6 months

Field Investigator, Post-2: (Qualification– MA with minimum 55% marks, Research, knowledge of Garhwali language, Period 6 months.

Prior experience of fieldwork, Video-recording/ Photography and documentation and sound knowledge of MS-Office.

Duration

The project is valid for a period up to August 2021. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis for a period of 6 months or till his/her service are required by the Principal Investigator or till the validity of the project, whichever is earlier.

Salary

Rs. 15000/-p.m. (consolidated)

2. Part-Time Staff (01)

Job Role

Assistance in documentation, Online and offline file keeping, Photo-video editing and documentation and sound knowledge of MS-Office.
